Are you looking for a solution for Arthralgia?

Would you like to rid yourself of the pain?

Characteristics of Arthralgia and its Causes

Arthralgia of the shoulder joint is pain in the joint while resting or being active.

Arthralgia is a painful condition resulting in limited mobility. It leads to attrition of cartilage and growth of bone structure in the area of the joint. Osteophytes (bony protrusions) cause pain, which worsens as the disease advances.

Causes of pain may be:

  • infectious,
  • inflammatory,
  • degenerative,
  • endocrine,
  • metabolic.

It mostly tends to appear in higher age and is connected to excess strain on the shoulder joint, especially long-term.

Excess weight and obesity also play a role.

Arthrosis, rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis are some of the most common causes of arthralgia. Arthritis and arthrosis are often accompanied by symptoms of inflammation – not just pain.

Arthrosis of the shoulder joint, otherwise called omarthrosis, is an isolated symptom of arthrosis on the upper limb. It is a degenerative disease with symptoms of inflammation of the soft structures of the joint.

Arthralgia and Shoulder Joint Arthrosis Treatment – Rid yourself of the Pain

Treatment of arthralgia of the shoulder joint depends on the specific cause of the pain. The treatment includes adjustments to the patient’s lifestyle. In the acute stage, it often means a period of rest.

The goal of the treatment is to reduce pain and decelerate progression of the arthrosis of the shoulder joint.

Non-steroid anti-rheumatics are administered to reduce pain and inflammation. Active rehabilitation without load and physical therapy in the form of ultrasound therapy, electrotherapy and 3D pulsed therapy is utilised.

In advanced stages of the disease, surgical intervention is often necessary.

3D Biomag pulsed therapy helps to deal with consequences of arthralgia or arthrosis of the shoulder joint. It may help prevent or postpone surgical intervention.

Explanation of chosen terms:

  • Non-steroid antirheumatics – non-steroid medicament with analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effect.
  • Omarthrosis – arthrosis of the shoulder joint.
  • Rheumatoid arthritis – an inflammatory autoimmune disease of small and large joints symptomized by pain.
  • Osteoarthritis – a degenerative disease of large joints.
  • Osteophyte – a bony protrusion in the area of a joint causing pain.

Patented 3D Biomag pulsed therapy. How does it work?

The basic principle of 3D Biomag magnetotherapy is generating electromagnetic pulses. The generated pulses penetrate through layers of clothing and even body tissues to the place of application. These pulses have specially developed biotropic parameters (e.g. frequency, profile, intensity), thanks to which the pulsed magnetotherapy affects various health conditions.

The term pulse magnetotherapy is most commonly used for physiotherapy using the principle of electromagnetic pulses. The abbreviation PEMF is used in order to be concise.

Patented 3D Biomag technology ensures more precise and uninterrupted pulse profiles, enhances output, and allows pulses to come from various angles. This makes it a completely new and unique medical technology on the market.

What are the benefits of therapy of arthralgia or shoulder joint pain?

  • Helps soothe pain stemming from arthrosis and arthralgia.
  • Has anti-inflammatory and anti-oedematous effect.
  • Improves joint mobility.
  • Thanks to being easy to use, it can be applied at home.
  • It’s a solution with no additional medicaments.
  • It’s a non-invasive treatment.

3D Biomag therapy and its effects – as explained by MUDr. Peter Bednarčík, CSc.

The effects of pulsed therapy - clinical studies

Effects of 3D pulse therapy Biomag (PEMF) on arthrosis of joints are supported by a clinical study conducted at the University of Siena in 2016. The study confirms significant mitigation of pain in patients suffering from arthrosis of the knee, who were administered 3D pulse therapy. It follows from the above-mentioned that 3D Biomag pulse therapy can help mitigate issues arising from joint arthrosis. More about this scientific study.

Positive effects of pulse magnetic field (PEMF) are evidenced by clinical studies by authorities on the subject and renowned institutions. The newest list of these clinical studies can be found on this page. Contact us and we will gladly help to familiarize yourself with this expert data.

Our department uses pulse magnetic field application very well. We appreciate that not only is there an option to used numbered programmes, but also to set up our own programmes. The device is small and easy to operate with good output.

University hospital Na Bulovce, Prague – Physiotherapy department

We have been utilising pulse magnetic field treatment in our spa for more than 10 years. We use Biomag devices for both physiotherapy and spa treatment. It is very advantageous to combine magnetotherapy with other physiotherapy methods because the effect of magnetotherapy potentiates with other methods (analgesic, anti-oedematous, recovery and myorelaxing).

Bělohrad Peat Spa – Lázně Bělohrad

We are happy with the device. The applicators are also easy to operate, and treatment results are satisfying. Feedback from patients is positive. Average number of applications is 50 per week.

Masaryk hospital, Jilemnice

In the winter of 2002, I was sick with the shoulder joint inflammation, unable to move my hand. I borrowed Biomag from my sister and used it twice a day in the basic application. In three weeks I was totally fine.
